Bloomsburg University Loses to California in Women's Basketball

CALIFORNIA (PA)--The Bloomsburg University women's basketball team lost to California (PA) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) cross-over game on Sunday by a 90-49 score.

The Huskies, who trailed by 18 points at half, saw California put the game out reach in the first eight minutes of the second half when the Vulcans used an 18-4 run to grab a 59-25 lead.

Leading Bloomsburg in scoring was Colleen Kegerreis with 17 points, while Gabe Miskinis added nine points and six rebounds.

California, now 9-3, had all five of its starters in double figures led by Kim Nowakowski with 18 points, while Lindsay Johnson added 15 points.

Bloomsburg, now 4-8, will host Cheyney on Wednesday night at the Nelson Field House starting at 5:30 p.m.
